Beijing is the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Being the second largest city of the country, it has been the center for communication, education, trade, culture, politics and economic development. Through the years, Beijing has evolved from its rich history to a more advanced society; from temples, museums and monuments to high rise buildings and towers, stylish shopping centers, dining hubs, first-class hotels and modern establishments. It also provides convenient transportation systems consisting rail and high speed rails, roads and expressways.

Lying at the tip of Northern China ,Beijing is loaded with captivating tourist attractions. At the heart of it is the famous Forbidden City, a Chinese imperial palace that serves as a home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Tiananmen Square is also found at the center of Beijing that signifies China’s cultural and historical events. The Summer Palace is another charm of Beijing that is included in UNESCO World Heritage List because of its amazing landscape design. Other interesting tourist spots are National Stadium, Temple of Heaven, Ming Tombs, Beijing Zoo, Hutongs and Yonghe Lamasery. And of course, your China trip will not be complete without the very popular Great Wall of China on the list.
